Diesel  

Hello  and  welcome  to  kennels-in-the-sky…..I  was  inspired  to build  this  site  after  losing  my  13  yr old  GSD…..may  she  rest  in peace………..gone  but  not  forgotten   “DIESEL” the  Alsatian.

This  was  my  2nd  GSD  at  least  this  time  it was  my  choice  when  she  went....entirely  different  from my  1st  GSD....    

 

last year we covered over 20, 000 miles touring Scotland..............I do not know if I will still have the same incentive...Diesel was my friend , companion.....if I was down she would make me laugh...................God rest her soul ......I miss her very much.................I have so many good times to remember she will never be far from my thoughts.......

Diesel was  never  happier  than when away camping..........she  loved  the  out-doors......be  it  wintery  weather  or  during  the  summer........a  dog  that  never  really  needed  to be on the  lead .....only  when  in the  village......more  photos   to be  added.

Our  1st  trip  to  Inverpolly  saw  me  catching  this  silohuette  of  Diesel........Loch  Assynt  in the  background....theres  only  one  star  in this  photo ...in my  eyes

I had  many  names  for  Diesel ...from  ole grey  beard   to  daddy,s girl , pretty  girl.... poppy girl...poppit..she  was  a  dog  , who never  complained.....as  soon  as  you  came  home  ..she was  always  ready  to greet  you  although  it  was  very  rarely  she  was  left on her  own.........My  life  revolved  round  her..not the  other way round....well Im  a  big  softy  at  heart ..when it  comes  to my  dogs.....

This  year  I  want  to visit  those  places  I  took  Diesel  and  take  her  spirit  on  one  more  journey...........so she  can share  those  memories.........if  you  have  a  pet  and  would  like  it  in Diesel ,s   "hall  of  fame "  please  email for  details.
